MIKE HOLOWAYis the original ESSEX BOY. Born in Dagenham in the early 60’s, his claim to fame was appearing as a child star in the TV programme “The Tomorrow People”.
Mike was taught to play the drums at the age of five by his grandad. At the age of 8, he joined a stage school, with the intention of pursuing an acting career. He first tasted stardom at the age of 10, when he made his debut TV appearance in a band called The Young Revivals . Two years later, the band changed their name to “Flintlock” & he gained the nickname “The Drummer Boy”. His band career saw many appearances on TV programmes including Blue Peter, Magpie & Top of the Pops.
Mike played the child star in the hit TV programme called “The Tomorrow People”. Although the series began in 1973, his character, Mike Bell, didn't appear in the show until 1976 & continued until the show finished in 1979.
His stage career began at an early age with a part in Babes in the woods. However, his name is more known for playing Joseph in the theatre production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Joseph & his amazing technicolour dream coat” He appeared from 1979 for 3 consecutive years, then again in 1985 - 1988. He also played Jesus in Godspell in 1980.. Other performances also include Danny Zuko in Grease, as well as many head pantomime characters.
Mike is now a family man, still living in Essex with his gorgeous wife, Emma. Mike has just celebrated his 60th birthday & likes to keep himself in good shape. This is pretty obvious as he has a huge following of female fans on all his social media platforms. Even at the age of 60, Mike is still very much the heartthrob.
In 2019, Mike joined forces with S.I.Management & became one of our top clients under full management. There are many projects in the pipeline including TV shows, concerts, stage appearances & even the possibility of a book.
